\nAfter a long career in the corporate world, I find myself unexpectedly and involuntarily unemployed.
\nA search into my expectations and wishes for the future led me to a leather goods course. It was love at first sight….
\nIt takes me only a few months to create the Leather Be brand.
\nThe first handbags are made for myself, my children, family and friends and then,
\nquite quickly, on demand!
\nSome adventures with a pop-up… make me want to go even further!
\nI design, create and produce all the bags and accessories, guided by a passion for the craft of
\nleather goods.
\nQuality and luxury finishing are my priorities; Personalized advice and contact with customers to create

\nThe Leather Be collection is growing!
\nThe ‘Classic’ in several versions, the ‘Go-Getter’, the ‘Divine’ and the family is still growing!
\nIn March 2020 (well fraternal with the start of the Covid) Leather Be, takes another big step:
\nAtelier Twee, a co-housing project between M\u00e9li et M\u00e9lo and Leather Be, opens its doors in Bruges.
\nAtelier Twee is a combination of a leather goods workshop and a shop, where Leather Be and M\u00e9li et M\u00e9lo present their new products.
\nBe and M\u00e9li et M\u00e9lo present their products to customers.<\/p>\n
This was a bold and well-considered choice.
\nThe customer can see all the manufacturing processes in the workshop, feel the skins and make his choice.
\nThe Atelier twee project was a premeditated success on the practical and financial side.
\nWe support each other in the development of our brands.
\nJuly 2021 Leather Be receives the label of authenticity as an artisanal entrepreneur ‘HANDMADE IN BELGIUM’ from
\nIN BELGIUM’ by UNIZO!
\nAnd in September 2021, the first VEGAN bag is presented!
\nI feel the need to create an ecological and ethical alternative line in order to
\nto manufacture all articles without animal skins. The basic principles of sustainability and quality are the most important for me!
\nFor many years I have been looking for a valid alternative! But at the
\nLineapelle leather fair in Milan (February 2020), I was presented with the solution: apple leather!
\nSo, after a series of tests, I was able to present the first bags made of ‘Apple Skin’!
